If you’ve driven down Monroe recently, you probably have noticed the vacant plaza that has been slowly building for what feels like forever. Well, this week, the to build or not to build topic is finally coming to light as Brighton residents fight on whether or not Whole Foods will exist.
The trial begins today, just a few months before developers say the grocery store is set to open this spring. Currently, there is a 50/50 split some people are against it because of the heavy traffic it can bring to Monroe Avenue, and some people are for it because it would be a cheaper food option.
