The last day for youth to apply for summer jobs through the City of Rochester’s Summer of Opportunity Program (SOOP) is tomorrow. The application process will close at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. No applications will be accepted after this date.
There are no drop off sites for documentation, so all supporting documents must be uploaded to https://doccollect.rochesterworks.org.
In addition to the online application, youth must also submit a copy of their Social Security card, a work permit, their most recent report card and a photo ID. A printed application signature report page, signed by a parent or guardian, must also be uploaded.

Youth between the ages of 14 and 20 who are currently enrolled in middle or high school are eligible to apply for SOOP. The program provides career exploration and paid employment opportunities that allow participants to learn skills that make them more attractive to employers and more successful in school.
