LaShay Harris Named As City Council’s New South District Representative

Rochester’s City Council has identified Monroe County Legislator LaShay Harris as their replacement for the vacant South District seat.
“It is a great honor to be given the opportunity to continue to serve the residents of the City’s Southwest Quadrant as a member of the Rochester City Council,” said Harris.
City Council is scheduled to hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 30th for a formal vote to name Harris as the South District Representative, but she will continue to serve out her current term with the county legislature until it expires at the end of 2019.
