Kanye West, Drake, and More Pay Respect For Virgil Abloh

On Monday, close family and friends of Virgil Abloh honored the late designer at a private funeral procession in Chicago at the Museum Of Contemporary Art. Abloh’s funeral was attended by Kayne West, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, Rihanna, Chicago activist Englewood Barbie, Abloh’s sister Edwina Abloh, and more. Edwina stated: “Virgil inspired multitudes to never relent and to be the best versions of [themselves]. My brother was endearing and humble yet daring and courageous…Virgil did not believe in the word impossible.”
Virgil Abloh died on November 28th after privately battling a rare form of cancer for the last two years. Abloh is survived by his wife, Shannon Abloh, Virgil and Shannon’s children Loew Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, and his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh.
