It’s Official: 2022 Grammys Postponed Indefinitely

After reporting earlier this week that the 2022 Grammy awards may be postponed, the Recording Academy has officially postponed the show due to COVID-related concerns. The Recording Academy stated: “The health and safety of those in our music community, the live audiences, and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly to produce our show remains our top priority. Given the uncertainty surrounding the Omicron variant, holding the show on January 31st simply contains too many risks.” A new date for the awards show has not been decided on yet.
