Rapper Ice T is known for his controversial song “Cop Killer”, but Ice T the actor finds himself on the other side of that coin.
In the new season of Law & Order SVU, his character Detective Tutuola actually kills a black man.
In true “ripped from the headlines” the 22nd season of SVU picks up right in the middle of the pandemic, so you will see the characters wearing masks.
Ice T did with TMZ Live to spill the tea on the new story plots and how he’s sees Generation Z leading the way to social justice.
I applaud the creators of Law & Order SVU for diving deep into the psychology behind police-involved shootings and implicit bias. Maybe this is the show needed to convince the rest of America that Black Lives really do Matter.
