Nicki Minaj has recently announced that she’s been working on a 6 part documentary series for HBO Max.
The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary of her debut studio album, Pink Friday.
Sarah Aubry, the head of original content at HBO Max said it was a privilege to be involved in the production and gave a statement that read:
“Nicki Minaj is a multi-faceted artist, businesswoman, and innovator as well as a force to be reckoned with,” Aubrey said. “It’s a privilege to bring this project to HBO Max and provide our viewers with unprecedented access to her life.”
HBO said that each episode will be 30 minutes long, and will showcase Minaj’s “brilliantly creative mind” while showcasing her story and rise to fame.
