Governor Kathy Hochul Picks Rep. Antonio Delgado As Lt. Governor

Rep. Antonio Delgado has been picked as Governor Kathy Hochul’s new Lt. Governor. So who is Delgado? Born in Schenectady, Rep. Delgado won his seat in Congress back in 2018 by flipping a Republican seat. He attended Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School, where he was a basketball star, and then earned degrees from Colgate, Oxford, and Harvard Law School.
Rep. Delgado stated: “New Yorkers deserve a Lieutenant Governor who’s working day and night to make lives better for working people and their families. Upstate, downstate, doesn’t matter. We all want the same things, security, family, and opportunity. The key is to listen to New Yorkers from all walks of life and then be their voice to get the job done.”
