Before you just listen to the video – I would advise scroll down and just read.  I  Don’t drink or smoke but started to look for a drink and a blunt after listening to this – – Read Jazzy’s synopsis on this 3 plus minutes below.
In a Rose Garden announcement, President Donald Trump said Friday he’s reached a short-term deal with Congress to reopen the government for 3 weeks, ending longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
Negotiations continue on his demand for money to build a border wall with Mexico.
The shutdown disrupted services and created hardships for many workers who live pay check to pay check.
President Trump promises to pay the Federal workers back “very quickly or as soon as possible”. He calls the employees affected by the shutdown “incredible patriots” who encouraged him to keep going because they “care so much about border security.”
Some workers found themselves at food pantries for the first time ever.
Imagine their surprise when they found out pantries do not hand out meat and very rarely have produce or dairy.
This is not new to us. We have been getting by with little or no means to feed our family for years. But still I rise.
