Fortnite Launching New Experience With Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” Speech

Imagine Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech on Fortnite! I know not something I would ever think would happen, but it happening! The popular video game is launching a new experience calling the event “March Through Time”. Players will be able to embark on an “immersive journey” back to 1963 to witness King’s historic speech in a “re-imagined” version of Washington D.C., dubbed D.C. 63.
The virtual experience appears to mimic the Lincoln Memorial, where King delivered his iconic speech on Aug. 28, 1963, in one of the defining moments of the 1960s civil rights movement. In a short trailer video put out by PlayStation, players will seemingly have the opportunity to attend the speech, hold signs and clap along as a recording of King’s address plays.
