Former Wrestling Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Buys XFL Football League

If you smell what The Rock is cooking than you know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Redbird capital acquired the Football League XFL from WWE Bossman Vince McMahon.
According to reports the league was sold for $15 million dollars just hours before it was set to be auctioned off.
Redbird capital is a private investment firm that focus on sports related business.
The XFL Football League had a ESPN broadcasting deal that was forced shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The XFL file for bankruptcy back on April 11th.
