Written by on September 19, 2021

Yesterday, Foodlink announced its first ever curbside mobile market. This market is designed to link families and communities in the Rochester area with fresh and affordable food. Adding the curbside market is a major milestone for Foodlink.

In addition, the curbside market provides WIC-eligible grocery items. This means that the Foodlink curbside markets eligibility provide federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
