Came across this story and I just want to say THANK YOU to the Rochester Police Officer’s who put their money together to buy a new basketball hoop for a group of kids on First Street!!
A few officers who work the Clinton Section Third Platoon noticed the kids playing basketball with a hoop but no backboard. After noticing this the officers put their money together to purchase a new basketball hoop!
They dropped off the new basketball hoop to the kids on First St. surprising them by pulling up with their lights and sirens.
So dope!
Again, thank you to these officers.
