FCC Had Over 1,300 Complaints For Jennifer Lopez And Shakira’s Super Bowl Performance

Super Bowl 54 has come and went, as a matter of fact, the NFL Combine is this week. As teams prepare for next season some fans are still stuck on the Super Bowl halftime show from the past season. The FCC received 1,312 complaints for the Shakira and Jennifer Lopez performance.

I’m not kidding!

Out of all of the complaints filed the most common is the show should came with the R rating. The reason in those complaints was for the inappropriateness. The FCC received complaints for every state in U.S. with the exception of Vermont. Everything is bigger in Texas and so were the complaints the state took the top spot.

One of the complaints said “this should be a family friendly show,” and another consumer said “I am disgusted that these performances were not censored before hand.” Another viewer from Tennessee filed a complaint stating “I do not subscribe to the playboy channel, we do not but porn for $20 a flick, we simply wanted to sit down as a family and watch the Super Bowl.”

Interesting, I wonder how many complaints were filed when Beyoncé performed Formation? Janet Jackson’s halftime performance and wardrobe malfunction received 540,000 FCC complaints.

Do you think the performance by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira should of been censored or rated R? Let us know via text 678-1039 or comment below.

I didn’t think it was that bad at all.
