Fat Joe Turns Viral Mash-up Into a Smash Single “Sunshine” {VIDEO}

While most of us were getting ready for a long Thanksgiving weekend, DJ Amorphous was busy creating the mashup none of us knew we needed.
Rihanna’s “Kiss it Better” + Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much” = Amorphous’ “Never Kissed it Too Much”.
The song went viral on twitter and garnered nearly 150,000 views on YouTube since it’s November 26 upload date.
While we all waited for Thursday’s Battle between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole to begin, the Verzuz DJ introduced the world to Fat Joe’s new single, “Sunshine” (The Light). I swear I hear it at least 5 times during the warm-up set.
In the intro, Fat Joe shouts out DJ Khalid, Cool & Dre and three other guys that are also featured in the video along with P. Diddy.
The single feels more like a mixtape track, since all Fat Joe did was add a few bars to the Never Kissed it Too Much mashup.
Oddly, there’s no mention of RiRi or the late Luther Vandross. Amorphous is in the video, but not included in the “brothers” toast or lengthy shout-out.
I mean what did DJ Khalid do to deserve credit on the single? But I digress. Check it out for yourself.
