Five McDonald’s workers in Chicago filed a class action lawsuit against the chain.
The fast food giant is being sued because the employees feel the company failed to enforce government safety on COVID-19 and putting their employees and families at risk to the virus.
The lawsuit claims that McDonald’s didn’t provide the proper PPE that’s needed to protect them from getting sick such as gloves, sanitizer, and face masks.
Employees at 3 other McDonald’s franchises in California also filed lawsuit for working in poor conditions.
McDonald’s denied the allegations and said their number one priority is safety for the customers and employees.
