Americans have been watching the lifestyles of the rich & famous since the 1984 reality show first came on television. The obsession grew expeditiously with the advent of social media and everyone living their best life aka ‘flexin’ on the gram.
But in reality, we are fast food workers, mechanics, garbage men/women, bakers and film crew.
