April 9, 2021

Seven days of worry and uncertainty have come come to an end for the family of Earl Simmons, as the legendary rapper known as DMX was just pronounced dead.

He was 50 years old and leaves behind 15 children and millions of grieving fans.

He was rushed to a White Plains, NY hospital on April 2 after suffering from a heart attack. He remained on life support until his family decided to pull the plug on Friday.

The following is the official statement from the Simmons family.

“We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end.”

The statement continues, “He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized.”

Early news reports suggested that DMX overdosed on drugs, but this claim has never been confirmed by Simmons’ family or legal representation.

According to Media Take Out, the family is FURIOUS about the speculation surrounding DMX drug use. An unnamed female member of the family said

“Yes he had past issues with drugs. But nobody knows that he had an OD. It’s f**cked up that its being reported like that.”

MTO News spoke her in an exclusive interview and she suspects that the heart attack may have been a reaction to the Covid19 vaccine.

DMX took the shot in order so that he would be able to tour again. Two weeks later he is dead.

The grieving kin explained, “He took that vaccine, and he had a heart attack. I’m not saying the vaccine did it, but he never had a heart attack before.”
