Public viewing and funeral services have been set for New York Assemblyman David Gantt.
Gantt, who served as the Assembly representative for the city of Rochester and Gates for more than 36 years, died on July 1st following a long battle with kidney failure. He was 78 years old.
A public viewing of Gantt’s body is scheduled for Friday, July 10th – 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The viewing will be held at the Church of Love Faith Center, 700 Exchange Boulevard. Everyone who wishes to attend the viewing is required to wear a mask.
The private ceremony for family and friends will be held at Church Of Love Faith Center on Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 a.m. The public is asked to join in the celebration of Gantt’s life through a virtual ceremony right here on WDKX.com.
In lieu of flowers, Gantt’s family asks that a donation be made to one of three scholarship funds established in the name of Gantt’s mother:
