Credit Karma Glitch

Written by on August 20, 2019

Those that have signed up to use Credit Karma as a means to monitor, improve or manage their credit were surprised when they logged into their accounts. Members/users may have had access to someone else’s credit, credit reports or account information. Not just once or only one person, several.

Users took to social media to expose the problem, initially denied by Credit Karma, claiming that there wasn’t a security breach! But what users came to find after they logged out and logged back in numerous times, the data changed to a whole new persons identity!

Some glitch.

How can you protect yourself from glitches and/or data breaches?

Listen Thursday at 9am at the watercooler, on 103.9 WDKX.
