Confusion Over Masks Spark Conversation

It seems as though there is a new announcement about the COVID-19 virus every day. Over the last week or so, the CDC announced that those who are fully vaccinated no longer have to wear their masks outside. However, despite this new announcement, many who are fully vaccinated, such as President Biden, are still wearing their masks outside. This has caused some controversy in the political realm. Many have been quick to defend the president, stating that he is just used to taking the extra precautions to protect, while others are quick to slander him.

Throughout the pandemic, the mask mandate has become a political and scientific debate. Anita Dunn, the top White House adviser stated, “People should follow the CDC guidelines, and they should take advantage of getting the vaccine, getting fully vaccinated, and taking that mask off, particularly as the weather grows so beautiful and we all want to be outside.”
