Mayor Warren Asks Residents to Help Celebrate City High School Seniors!!

On Wednesday, May 1, Mayor Lovely A. Warren and the City of Rochester will celebrate the city’s high school seniors by participating in the annual ‪#‎ReachHigher social media campaign. The campaign, spearheaded by former First Lady Michelle Obama, celebrates College Signing Day – the traditional deadline for students to commit to their college of choice. Mayor Warren is asking residents to help her in congratulating and recognizing Rochester’s newest college students, military service members and vocational tradespeople.

The Mayor is encouraging residents to join the campaign by posting photos of themselves in their college, military or vocational garb on their social media pages, using the hashtags #reachhigher and #roctogether.

The community is also invited to like and share #ReachHigher posts on the City’s Facebook @CityofRochesterNY and Twitter @CityRochesterNY pages.

This is the fourth year the Mayor has participated in the Reach Higher campaign. For more information and to view photos of last year’s campaign, visit: www.cityofrochester.gov/reachhigher/.
