Businesses In Charlotte Beach Area Closing For 4th Of July Weekend

Written by on July 3, 2020

If you’re going to Charlotte over the 4th of July weekend you may see businesses in the area closed.

According to 13Wham news, the restaurant Dominic’s and other businesses said they will close Saturday through Monday. The reason they say is not because of COVID-19 but the safety of employees and customers. One of the restaurant managers said it’s unsafe especially at night.

Some of the businesses have reported people in large groups loitering, drag racing, and other suspicious activity.

Because of those issues, many businesses in the Charlotte beach area decided to close for the holiday weekend. The Rochester Police Department said they have increased patrols and have made arrests when necessary.

If you had plans to get food and drinks with family or friends in Charlotte you should double-check to see if where you want to go will be open.
