Yesterday, the athletic trainer who helped to save the life of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin was honored at the New York State Capitol for his quick actions in saving Hamlin’s life. Denny Kellington, the team’s assistant athletic trainer, is credited with saving Hamlin’s life by performing CPR.
Hamlin stated: “I owe Denny my life, literally. He loves to say he was just doing his job, which is true. That night, he was literally the savior of my life, administering CPR on me. That’s something I’m truly thankful for and I don’t take for granted.”
