Billboard Music Awards: Doja Cat Celebrates 4 Wins

At last night’s Billboard Music Awards, Doja Cat celebrated with four wins, winning two in-person live in Las Vegas. Her first award was for Top R&B Artist for her album Planet Her, beating out GIVĒON, Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak), Summer Walker, and The Weeknd. Doja stated: “Wow. We did it! We did it! Thank you guys so much. I want to thank my fans again and yeah, I’m very grateful and I’m excited to see more people win…It’s just wonderful to be here tonight with everybody, and, yeah, thank you, mom and, yeah, that’s it.”
Doja’s last broadcasted win was for Top R&B Album for her album Planet Her, beating out GIVĒON (When It’s All Said And Done…Take Time), Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak – An Evening With Silk Sonic), Summer Walker (Still Over It) and The Weeknd (Dawn FM). Doja stated: “Oh, boy listen, thank you. I really appreciate it I really, really do. It’s an honor. I’ve always loved R&B…Growing up, it’s what raised me. I think that there’s a lot of very talented R&B artists out there right now…I think that everybody deserves this award.”
