Ella Mai and Jacquees have stirred up some R & Beef after Mai called him out in a shady tweet.
The beef comes after Tory Lanez brought Jacquees on stage while performing at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday. The self proclaimed “King of R & B” performed many of his own hits as well as his remix to Ella Mai’s “Trip”.
Mai responded with this tweet after hearing the performance:
i’d be so embarrassed if someone brung me on stage and the only thing i could sing was someone elses song because nobody knew my actual music. poor thing.

Jacquees was NOT having it. The song was removed from SoundCloud and YouTube shortly after its release in September of 2018 due to a copyright claim from Mai’s label, but it was still able to rack up millions of streams in that short time. His response to the shade was:
“Me and @djmustard already cleared this up we plan on working we on the next page. I’m doing what I do. Much success to ya Ella Mai.”
He further addressed the claim that no one knew his music by saying, “Yea and everything gold or Plat …B.E.D. AT THE, CLUB OCEAN, YOU, YOUR PEACE NEXT!”
His boo Dreezy came to his defense telling Ella Mai, “1st of all he hate performing that song. They put him on the spot and he did what he was sposed to do. Every single he dropped is gold or plat, humble yourself girl.”
Tory Lanez was also sided with Jacquees and posted the performance on his personal Instagram.

Seems like Ella Mai just can’t have her song to herself.
