Baby and Me Swim Classes Available at Adams Street R-Center

The City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation and Youth Services is offering Baby and Me indoor swimming lessons for parents/guardians and their infant children. The 30-minute classes will be offered in six-week sessions at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings at the Adams St. R-Center, 85 Adams St.
Baby and Me is designed to allow parents and guardians to introduce children to the water through the use of songs, while simultaneously teaching parents how to safely work with their infants.
The upcoming six-week sessions of Baby and Me will run
- January 4, 2020 – February 8, 2020
- February 15, 2020 – March 21, 2020
- March 28, 2020 – May 2, 2020
- May 9, 2020 – June 13, 2020
Classes are free and registration is recommended but not required. All infants are welcome, but parents and guardians are encouraged to use their own discretion to decide if their child is ready to be introduced to the water. One adult per child is required and swim diapers must be worn.
