Angela Davis Discovers Her Ancestors Were On The Mayflower On Finding Your Roots

Angela Davis was on the PBS show Finding Your Roots recently and she discovered she had ancestors on the Mayflower.
On the February 21st episode of Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr. Revealed to Angela Davis the Mayflower manifest of names. That document included names of the passengers on the ship which showed Davis’ ancestors were in fact on that ship.
What is so incredible about this is Angela Davis ancestors literally had a hand in founding and creating America.
I’ve never wanted to take a DNA test to see my ancestry but after this I’ve changed my mind.
