American Black Film Festival Online Edition

This year the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) will be held online. The festival will offer a mix of live and on-demand content available from August 21st to the 30th at abff.com. Mary J. Blige is this years festival ambassador, so its definitely about to turn up in the dancery. Other speakers include Stacy Abrams, Kenya Barris, Curtis “50 cent” Jackson, Barry Jenkins, Gabrielle Union and Lena Waithe.
This is the festivals 25th year. Founder and CEO, Jeff Friday expresses gratitude about sharing this years festival electronically as an opportunity to engage with people who otherwise might never attend a destination event.
