Amazon Is Leveling Up It’s Prime Video With Buying MGM

Well, Amazon just leveled up its movie game big time! Amazon just inked a deal and acquired MGM for $8.45 billion. MGM is one of the most iconic and oldest film studios in the world. It has produced huge movie franchises like James Bond, Rocky, and Creed.
The deal will give expand the Amazon Prime Video library in a very big way. The MGM catalog includes over 4,000 movies and 17,000 TV shows.
Amazon is now focusing its talents on becoming a major player in the entertainment world. Amazon subscribers will definitely end up having more content to choose from including a new series based on “The Lord Of The Rings”. This is not only a win for Amazon but also for its Prime subscribers.
