After captivating the nation with her poetry at the inauguration, Amanda Gorman won the hearts and minds of Super Bowl Fans as she delivered a beautiful performance before the start of the game last night.
Her original poem honored three pandemic heroes: James Martin, a marine veteran, Suzie Dorner, a nurse and Trimaine Davis, a teacher.
The heroes were commemorated as honorary captains for the Super Bowl according to NBC Sports.
