‘Tis the upcoming moving season and Rochester has a new 45-unit senior housing complex that is ready for residents. The new apartment, Zion Hill Senior Apartments on Dr. Samuel McCree Way, is a collaboration between Rochester Management. Rochester Management is a nonprofit real estate firm and Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The goal of the Zion Hill Senior Apartments is to increase affordable senior housing options while transforming the block between Genesee and Wooden streets on Rochester’s west side. In addition to the apartments, they are also building a new community garden and greenhouse adjacent to the complex.
