$500 Million Deal For NFL QB Patrick Mahomes And Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL, or at least the highest paid. The Kansas City Chiefs star won the Super Bowl in February (pre-pandemic) and was named MVP. Now, the Chiefs signed Mahomes to a 10 year, 500 million deal, keeping him in KC until the year 2031, $477 million guaranteed. According to Steinberg Sports he’s the first half $1 billion player in sports history. It’s a big jump in pay.
