FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is making a big move to promote healthier living by banning all trans fat from the food supply in the U.S. over the next three years.
So instead of hydrogenated oil in foods, food suppliers will use palm oil or coconut oil. According to the FDA hydrogenated oil is not safe for human consumption and poses health risk.
