It scares me that this man once had people’s lives in his hands as a surgeon and now her oversees the entire Housing & Urban Development department.
Yesterday while addressing members of HUD he made some controversial statements that made us all go “HUH?!”
He referred to slaves as immigrants who persevered through their harsh conditions.
“There were other immigrants who came in the bottom of slave ships, who worked even longer, even harder, for less, but they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great grandsons, great granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land,” said Carson.
