Yasiin Bey formerly known as Mos Def, has just announced he will be releasing his final album December 9th titled ‘December 99th.’ He will also have four final performances
Dec. 21 in Harlem, NY – Apollo Theater
Dec. 31 in Washington D.C. – Kennedy Center
Jan 1 in Washington D.C. – Kennedy Center
Jan. 2 in Washington D.C. – Kennedy Center
& then he’s done forever. Bey stated he will perform a variety of songs from –Black on Both Sides, The New Danger, True Magic, and The Ecstatic – each night.
He was just given permission from South Africa to come back to America about a week ago and he’s leaving us already.
Luckily, he’ll be leaving us with greatness. The album will have nine tracks and will be a TIDAL exclusive. See the track list below:
