Apparently Soulja Boy Jumped the gun when he took to social media to announce his $400 million deal. The company World Poker Fund Holdings said they based their numbers off of what they call “traditional incentive-based gaming assumptions”. 

WPFH is launching an in-flight gaming system that will be integrated with the celebrity owned gaming site, CelebrityWorld.com.

Company spokesperson Matthew Bird said “He’s (Soulja Boy) young, he’s 25 years old. He got really excited, and he tweeted something he probably shouldn’t have tweeted. He was getting a lot of pressure from within the entertainment community, so he wanted to put a statement out.”

Ummmmm… I think Soulja Boy could of waited and I highly doubt this was a case of pressure from the “entertainment community.” I believe the only one pressuring Mr. Boy was his own EGO.

Moral of the story think before you Tweet, SnapChat, Instagram, and Facebook. That one post could cause a lot of damage to you, your business, or your legacy.
