Teens Charged In Fatal Bathroom Brawl

You may or may not recall the girl’s bathroom brawl that ended fatally a month or two ago at a Delaware high school.

Sixteen year old Amy Joyner-Francis was confronted by a few of her peers over, what was rumored to be, a boy. Well initial reports suggested that Amy death was due blunt force trauma after hitting her head on the bathroom sink. However, the recent autopsy results show that the actual cause of death was cardiac failure. Apparently Amy was dealing with a heart condition that exasperated during the fight, and resulted in a cardiac arrest.

Now the 3 teenage girls that jumped Amy have been charged with her death. Trinity Carr, 16, was videoed punching Joyner in her head and chest, while Zion Snow and Chakeira Wright, watched. Carr is charged with criminally negligent homicide, and my face up to 8 years in prison. Her sidekicks both face up to one year each for third-degree criminal conspiracy.
