Movies at the Little this Weekend

Saturday, April 30 is our ode Prince Rogers Nelson. You can celebrate the music of Prince in The Little Cafe from 5:30-6:30 as on-air hosts from WDKX share select Prince songs and special memories. At 6:45, things are turning purple. We’re screening Purple Rain at 6:45 in theater 1. No umbrellas are necessary.
Earlier that day, we’re celebrating International Jazz Day with a fun Miles Ahead event. We’ll screen the Don Cheadle-directed biopic at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, in theater 1 and after the film, panelists — and jazz experts — Jack Garner and Derrick Lucas will lead a discussion about the movie. The awesome folks at Jazz90.1 are teaming with us for this Miles Davis-centric afternoon.
The fact that both these screenings will be in theater 1, makes this a good reason to makeSaturday a Little Day!
