18 years ago on this date, Big Pun put out his debut album, Capital Punishment, on Loud Records.
Released by Fat Joe and the Terror Squad on Loud Records, Pun’s highly anticipated album showcased Pun’s unequaled lyrical ability, comedic punchlines and his ever evolving style. The album became the first latin Hip Hop record to go platinum. My favorite songs are “Twinz” and “Still Not A Player.”
