You Can’t Sit With Us!

Your team has one of the worst records of the season, your franchise player is retiring; at this point things can’t get any worse right? Well not unless your teammate leaks a video of you confessing to cheating on your fiancé.

While this may seem unbelievable to some, this became Nick Young’s reality after a video surfaced featuring the Los Angeles’ Laker admitting to cheating on his fiancé, pop star Iggy Azalea. The video was rumored to be leaked by rookie teammate D’Angelo Russell. As a result, fellow Lakers have outcast the point guard.

In interview with People magazine Russell admits to being the source of the scandal, and is seeking guidance from his teammates on how to handle the situation.

“I’ve talked to a few players separately just to get their input on how to go about it….At this point, the damage has been done. The best thing you can do is own up to it. That’s what I did – I owned up to it in full effect and am just taking what comes with it.”

We hope that Young and Russell can get over this hump; but reality is, nothing will ever be the same.
