Mayor Warren Welcomes Flower City Work Camp Volunteers to Rochester

Mayor Lovely Warren welcomed youth and adult volunteers to Rochester yesterday, on the first day of Flower City Work Camp, Inc., a faith-based organization comprised of more than 40 churches throughout Monroe County providing home improvements for city homeowners who are unable to make repairs themselves.
More than 700 youth and 300 adult volunteers from the churches are working at 57 homes throughout the city during spring break, March 28 through March 31. Flower City Work Camp participants will also volunteer with local sports camps at two city R-Centers.
