Rush-Henrietta Graduate Sammy Watson wins the 800-meter final at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships!
Texas A&M Freshman Sammy Watson becomes the third freshman to win the outdoor 800m title and she did it in 50 degree rainy weather.
She ran the first lap in 1:01.08 and then the second lap in 1:03.13.
There were 12,998 people in attendance Saturday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
