What Does The Weeknd & Marvel Comics Have In Common?.. Starboy

I’m so excited about this collaboration with Marvel Comics and The Weeknd to present: Starboy the comic book.
Marvel has teamed up with singer and Grammy Award winner The Weeknd to produce a comic book called The Weeknd Presents: Starboy.
Back in October Able “The Weeknd” Tesfaye announced there was a collab happening with Marvel for his Starboy character from his last album to be made into a superhero.
The Weeknd said this comic book is a dream come true.
Marvel released the synopsis of the comic, “The city of Alphatron is in the grip of a crime wave, as the terrifying Jack “The Chef” Smiley has unified all criminal organizations with his ruthlessness and strategic genius. Not content with brutally murdering his victims, Smiley also feasts upon their flesh. The citizens live in fear and the police have been directly targeted. The city is in dire need of a hero. It will not get one, but it will get what it deserves: Starboy!”
THE WEEKND PRESENTS: STARBOY – Vol. 1 Issue #1 created by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, La Mar Taylor, Christos Gage, Eric Nguyen, and Guru-eFX is set to drop June 13, 2018.
