Monroe County inmates allowed to use tablets

A new pilot program will allow Monroe County Correctional Facility inmates in Brighton to have access to tablets.
The program was started late last year and already over 100 tablets have been donated.
As long as the inmates are in good standing, they can listen to music, play games, or call loved ones from their bunks, but they do not have internet access.
The cost of using a tablet is $15 for two weeks, or $25 for the month.
