Rochester Flu Death

(DAIQUON)–Monroe County has reported its first flu related death of the season today.
The recently deceased was between the ages of 50-64 years old and passed sometime between October and December. No further information was released.
There were 607 confirmed flu cases and 175 hospitalized cases here in Monroe County.
Monroe County Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza is highly encouraging those that have not received their vaccines to get one if possible since the flu is circulating rapidly this year.
