A light is finally being shed on a worldwide epidemic that has been destroying the lives of millions. Modern day slavery.
The lid is finally been blown off of the slave trade in Libya. People are being sold at auction from Sub Sahara Africa as farm workers for about $400, as reported by CNN.
Migrants trying to reach Europe have spoken of being held by smugglers and forced to work for little or no money.
The African Union has opened an investigation regarding this inhumane trade happening right under their noses.
