SPRING, TX - A Texas mother says she was kicked out of a pizza restaurant for changing her baby at the table.
She says there was no changing table in the restroom.
The restaurant's owner says that's no excuse.
You might call Miranda Sowers a diaper changing expert. Four month old Regan is baby number 3. But this Spring mother had quite the challenge when she was alone with her 3 girls at Brother's Pizza Express on Cypresswood Drive and took Regan to the bathroom.
"I looked around saw there was absolutely nowhere to lay a baby other than the floor so walked back out and thought I have to figure something else out."
With no changing table and to avoid the hassle of taking everyone back to the minivan, Miranda said what she did next was her last resort.
"So I thought you know what I've got my own changing pad she's tiny she fits right here on the chair so I laid her down quickly quietly changed her diaper", said Sowers.
But it wasn't quickly and quietly, according to the employees who tell us the restaurant was full.
"I don't want to lose all these other customers because they see a dirty diaper", said Bessa Lala of Brother's Pizza Express.
