The rising Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, is taking her chart-topping reign to the big screen with a cameo in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7.
While Vin Diesel may be hitting the publicity stint with Zoe Saldana to promote their superhero flick, Guardians of the Galaxy, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten his roots. The franchise star let the news slip in an exclusive interview with Skyrock FM.
"Iggy Azalea and I just worked together two weeks ago," he said. "We casted her in Fast & Furious 7; she has a cameo in [it]."
This probably means that she's not joining the Toretto Crew for any major parts in the movie. Although this may be the first time Iggy appears in a motion picture, she is hardly the first musician to ride with the automotive franchise.
Ja Rule appeared in the original 2001 film as a drag racer, while Bow Wow made his cameo with the infamous and ridiculous green car in Tokyo Drift. Singers Tego Calderon and Don Omar joined Scott Caan and Casey Affleck in Fast & Furious and Rita Ora made her most recent cameo in Fast 6 as herself.
