Governor Cuomo is expected to be in Rochester Wednesday morning for a Start-Up New York announcement.
He is scheduled to be at the Rochester Institute of Technology's Center for Media.
Start-up New York is the Governor's initiative to transform communities across the state into tax-free sites for new and expanding businesses.
In April, two RIT owned properties were approved to offer Start Up New York packages to businesses. Those properties are Venture Creations at Tech Park Drive in Henrietta and the other is on Franklin Street in downtown Rochester.
At the time, RIT president Bill Destler said he hoped to have new tenants in within 60 days.
